Locala was founded by Mornington Peninsula natives, Mike and Bec, whose shared passion for property, interiors and travel naturally evolved into a business dedicated to creating exceptional holiday stays.

Before launching Locala in 2022, Mike built a career in finance and strategy, working with some of Australia’s most recognised brands. Bec’s background spans PR, brand, and digital marketing, having worked across iconic, luxury Australian fashion, beauty and interior brands. While their professional paths were different, they both shared the same love for beautifully designed spaces, thoughtful hospitality, and the Mornington Peninsula lifestyle they grew up with.

Combining their experience in business, branding and marketing, Mike and Bec created Locala to offer a more considered, fresh and hands-on approach to holiday rental management.

4+ years on, Locala has helped many owners prepare, style, market and manage their homes for guests, while building a curated portfolio of luxury and lifestyle stays across some of their favourite travel destinations across Victoria, including the Mornington Peninsula, Bayside, The Ranges, Melbourne’s Inner-East and CBD.
